Percent of Population with 500K or over Net Worth

Having a million dollars/euros/pounds whatever your currency, is a lot of money. Many people would consider that the point that you are truly wealthy. Everyone seems to be a millionaire, at least presenting to be one online. If you spend time on finance channels such as reddit or gurus on youtube/tiktok/instagram they promise immense wealth. The fact is this is far from the truth.

The bar graph below is to show you just how far it is from the truth. You can see almost immediately that the percent of populations with more than 500k net worth in all countries represented below never reach above 15%. This is only for a 500k net worth not even 1 million. It is not the case that everyone is immensly wealthy, normal people do not contain this wealth. Millionaires and those with more thank 500k net worths are the exception to the rule and not the expected outcome.
