Millionaires in the U.S.

Not as many people have $100,000 dollars than you might think. Even though this is the number that people usually consider a solid amount of wealth.

Below is a bar chart showing the percentage of individuals who do have over $100k Net Worth. One bar shows with equity, the other without equity. Equity being the amount of money someone has payed to their mortgage. Most people's greatest financial asset is there house, if we remove equity, these numbers tell a much different story.
