In the U.S. in 2024 there have been more than 300,000 layoffs, so far. If you are one of these people, or one of the 700,000+ layoffs in 2023, you are not alone. In the U.S. 40% of the population have been laid off or terminated at some point in their career. It is common and heartbreaking but a natural part of ones career.
